BREATHWORK FAQs
-
Breathwork is a guided practice that uses conscious breathing to help you connect more deeply with yourself. By gently shifting your breath, you can release tension, process emotion, and access greater clarity and calm. The breath becomes a doorway — helping you move out of your busy mind and into your body, where healing and insight often begin.
-
Not at all. Breathwork is for everyone, and you don’t need to have any experience to begin. I’ll guide you through everything gently and you are in control to breathe at a pace that feels right for you.
-
Every session is unique. Some people feel physical sensations like tingling, warmth, energy moving, or lightness in the body. Others may experience a release of emotion or a deep sense of calm. Your breath will guide the experience — and you are always in control. I’ll be there to support you every step of the way.
-
If you are unsure whether breathwork is right for you, I’m happy to talk it through with you before you schedule. Your safety, comfort, and well-being are always priority, and there are often gentle adjustments we can explore together.
Note: If you are working with a healthcare provider, I encourage you to speak with them before participating.
-
Wear something comfortable and cozy that allows you to relax fully. You’re welcome to bring water, a journal, and anything else that helps you feel supported — like a blanket, eye mask, or crystals.
-
Come as you are. The perfectly imperfect authentic self. Come with a sound mind, free from substances that may inhibit your full presence. Hydration is important before, during and after the session. For those who have never breathed with me before, an open mind makes all the difference.
-
We’ll move in and out of the breath intentionally. There are moments of active breathing and moments of rest and integration. It’s not just deep breathing — it’s a guided experience, and I’ll be with you the whole way.
-
After a session, people often feel lighter, more connected, or deeply relaxed. You might also feel emotional release, peace, or clarity. Integration is part of the process, so I always recommend gentle self-care afterward — journaling, rest, or time in nature can be supportive.
-
Likely not. Each breathwork experience is unique and unfolds in its own way. You are always in control, and you will be supported and held throughout the process. The breath has a beautiful way of bringing to the surface what’s ready to be felt, released, or seen — but it does so at a pace that your body and spirit are ready for.
There’s no “right” way to have a session. It’s simply a space to come home to yourself, be with what’s present, and let the breath guide you toward insight, softness, and healing.
WOMEN’S CIRCLE FAQs
-
A women’s circle is a sacred, intentional space where women gather to connect — with themselves, with each other, and with something deeper. Through sharing, reflection, ritual, and grounding practices, we come together to be seen, heard, and supported. No pressure, no performance — just real presence and connection.
-
Never. Sharing is always optional, and you’re welcome to participate in whatever way feels comfortable. Whether you speak or simply sit and receive, your presence is enough, and your experience is honored.
-
Each circle may be a little different, but we often begin by grounding, sharing intentions, and creating a safe space. There may be guided meditation, journaling, breath, gentle ritual, or simple practices tied to a theme (like the seasons, honoring different archetypes, self-love, release, or intention-setting). We close by coming back together and honoring whatever has unfolded.
-
My circles are inclusive and heart-centered. While they may feel spiritual in the sense of being deeply connected, they’re not tied to any one belief system or tradition. All are welcome — no matter your background or where you are on your path.
-
Absolutely. Many people feel nervous the first time they step into circle. You’re not alone in that. But something beautiful often happens when we enter a space where we don’t have to perform or prove anything — just be ourselves. My circles are warm, welcoming, and gently held.
-
Wear something comfortable that helps you feel relaxed and at ease. You’re welcome to bring a journal, water, or something special for the altar (a photo, flower, crystal, or item from nature). I’ll let you know ahead of time if anything else is helpful to bring.
-
You’re so welcome, even — and especially — if you come alone. Many women join circle without knowing others, and the space is always held with care and kindness. You’ll be met exactly as you are.

I currently co-facilitate circles beside my cousin & sister Ali with the Lavender Rooster. Visit her website here for our current offerings.

Both circles and ceremonies offer intentional, sacred space — but they hold different purposes.
Women’s circles are more communal and ongoing. They offer a place to gather, reflect, share, and connect with other women. We often explore themes like self-love, transition, or the seasons, and practices might include journaling, breath, sharing, or ritual. Circles are open to all women and are a beautiful way to come home to yourself within community.
Ceremonies, on the other hand, are more personalized and often mark a meaningful life moment. Whether it’s a Mama Blessing, First Bloom Ceremony (menarche celebration), or a Rise & Return Ceremony (birthday/year-ahead), these gatherings are tailored to the individual and crafted with intention, beauty, and support. They often include guests and are designed to honor, celebrate, and support someone through a transition or threshold.
Circles are about regular connection. Ceremonies are about sacred milestones.
If you’re unsure which is right for you, I’m always happy to chat and help you find the space that best supports you or your loved one.
