Why Healing Beneath the Rose?
The name Healing Beneath the Rose was born from the ancient phrase sub rosa, which means “under the rose” — a symbol of sacredness, trust, and what is held in confidence. In times past, a rose would be hung, painted, or carved above a gathering space to show that what was shared there would remain private, honored, and protected. Roses in this way symbolized secrecy, the discrete knowing’s within.
To me, healing what is beneath the rose is connecting with those hidden parts within us — in quiet, intentional spaces where you can soften, release, and return to yourself without judgment. It speaks to the kind of work I offer: gentle, meaningful, and rooted in care. Whether through breathwork, women’s circles, or ceremony, this is a space to be witnessed, supported, and held — with reverence for the path you’ve walked and the one you’re stepping into.
This is healing that happens not in the spotlight, but in the softness — beneath the rose.
Who am I?
Welcome friend, I am grateful you are here.
My name is Megan. I am a breathwork facilitator, a sacred space holder for women’s circles, and am a believer that everything happens for a reason. I came into this work during a time when I felt lost — unsure of who I was, but deeply certain that there was more. More purpose, more connection, more of the universe’s offerings waiting to be remembered. That season of uncertainty became a doorway, leading me to breathwork, women’s circles, and sacred ceremony — and ultimately, back to myself.
Now, I hold space for others to do the same: to reconnect, to feel supported, and to remember what’s already within. Whether we’re breathing together, sitting in circle, or honoring a threshold through ceremony, I aim to create a space that feels calm, caring, and real. I’ve been described as intuitive, grounding, thoughtful, and someone you can truly count on — and I bring those qualities into every offering, with a generous heart and a deep respect for each person’s unique path.
I value authenticity and believe in creating spaces that are not only safe, but also meaningful — where people feel seen, held, and supported just as they are. I love the community that forms when we gather with intention, and I remain open to new ways of working with the body, breath, and spirit that support true, lasting healing.
This work is open to all who feel called. Whether you’re arriving with curiosity, a longing for connection, or a need for deeper healing, you’re welcome here.
Outside of this work, I find joy in life’s quieter moments — time spent with my husband and our three beloved dogs, whose presence reminds me daily of simplicity, connection, and unconditional love.
